La Tienda Gift Shop is the premier location for unique gifts and books in Brownsville.  Known for its fine selection of books on regional, Texas and Mexican history and culture, La Tienda also offers an assortment of folk art, local art, bilingual books and gifts, stationary, jewelry, and other unique gift and souvenir items that capture the spirit of South Texas/Northeastern Mexico border. 

La Tienda's purpose is to act as an educational extension of the museum complex by providing quality merchandise and generating revenue to support the Brownsville Historical Association's mission.
